Cameras on all of our trucks mean we can provide real-time reporting on all the waste that we collect. We report back based on volume and weight, and the % reallocated, recycled or reused. So far as we know, Junk run is NZ’s only waste management company currently certified with the internationally recognised ECO warranty for our commitment to reducing damage and harm to the environment. We also have Akina Foundation Fwd accreditation.
We are also actively involved in consultation working groups with Auckland Council – Towards Zero Waste and the New Zealand Eco Labelling Trust. Our team have done consultancy work for waste audits for Auckland Council, and can help you set up a waste management plan and training before your project starts to maximise diversion away from landfill.
